Tuesday, November 8, 2011, 7:00 PM EVERY VOTE COUNTS River Rescue
Sunday, November 6, 10AM - 2PM The county is asking for volunteers for a "River Rescue". This will be a
volunteer initiative designed to combat the lingering aftermath of
Hurricane Irene and help reduce future flooding by removing debris in and
along the Bronx River. The event will take place Sunday, 6 November
between 10AM and 2PM at two places in White Plains - near the County
Center and near Main Street. This might be a good project for local
associations, groups, and clubs.
